The Dexit Service is an alternative to cash for your small everyday purchases. Instead of digging through your pockets for change or waiting in line for a bank machine, just use your Dexit tag.
The Dexit tag is available in two forms — a small tag to hang on your key chain or a phone tag that attaches to your cell phone or PDA.
Use it in place of cash or debit for those everyday transactions — coffee, snacks, lunch, parking, etc.
Dexit is fast, light, easy and secure and it will change the way you buy your everyday items.
To pay for your purchase, simply let the merchant know you would like to pay with Dexit. Then tap your tag on the Dexit reader and in seconds, your transaction is complete. Dexit uses sophisticated technology called Radio Frequency Identification (RFID). When your tag is placed on a Dexit reader, signals from the terminal capture information from a microchip inside your tag and securely authenticate the transaction with your account.
Dexit is a convenient payment service for smaller purchases. The Dexit tag is safer, more secure and faster than traditional credit or debit cards. There are no charges when you use your tag for purchases, just when you refill! Refills are simple and convenient too! You can arrange for automatic refills from your bank account or credit card, or you may choose to do it yourself with electronic bill payment or over–the–counter refills at select locations.
