- Look for the Dexit reader at participating merchants.
- Let the cashier ring up your purchase as usual, but instead of fumbling with your coins or wallet, let them know you’d like to pay with Dexit.
- Verify that the amount on the Dexit reader screen is correct.
- Place your tag on the Dexit reader’s orange dot.
- Within seconds, the reader should display the message ‘Approved’. If the message, ‘Not Approved’ or ‘Tag not found’ appears, please contact 1.877.DEXIT4U to speak to a customer service representative for assistance.
